A Painting: The Bedroom Screen.

Here are some photos of a decorative screen that Laura
was commissioned to paint.
The commission was finished just before Christmas.
The painting was done in artist quality acrylic on
customwood (MDF) panels. Each panel is 1.2 m
high (four feet). The background of the figures is in
acrylic gold luster, and glows looks almost like real gold
under artificial light. Peter did the woodwork for the screen
in oiled Macrocarpa. It was a challenge for both of us;
for Peter, learning to use a router, and for Laura working on
a larger scale than she is used to.
Details of the panels follow below.

  1. Beautiful work, containing much food for thought- One can only guess at what the artist is symbolizing, and allow free reign to rumination.
    More please!
